Why to blog in English?

I have decided that from time to time I will publish posts in English. For several reasons:

1.-Because I want to.
2.-It covers more audience.
3.-So I can practice.
4.-Iberian monolingualists are screwed.
5 .-???
6.-Profit

I will not apologize for the mistakes that I have, since English is not my first language. So to prevent further criticism, I would simply say that corrections, etc are welcome.

There is a tide in the affairs of men which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune; omitted, all the voyage of their life
is bound in shallows and miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat, and we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures.

Algo así.

Also, a man choses. A slave obeys.

"Ante futuras críticas", ¿cómo se dice?

To further ctiriticism significa "para alargar el criticismo" (o hacerlo más duradero etc).

"To prevent further criticism", sería para prevenír futuras críticas.
